Plastic paper
Plastic paper (synthetic paper) is a general term both for grades made partially or totally from synthetic wood pulps and for nonwovens used for paper end-uses.
They can be: single or multi-ply; suitable for direct food application; filled or coated with pigments used for normal paper; mechanically stretched to increase squareness; corona treated to improve ink receptivity; metallized and laminated to paper and foil.
